Reviews
This is the cutest, nicest little BBQ place! I ate there this week (I live a mile away). The Ponders had just smoked chickens and ribs on the grill that day. Within the past couple weeks, I spent about $50 at a new BBQ place in Warner Robins. Nick and Jim's or something like that. The ribs were like leather and it was awful. I filled out a survey and got a call from someone at the restaurant, but I don't know who because they didn't leave a message. The chicken and ribs at Oglethorpe BBQ were wonderful! And on top of that, they were offering delicious white corn on the cob from Glenn Lee Chase's farm. It was so good! I thank God for that meal! I needed it! Thank you Wayne and Pattie Ponder! I was in the Lions Club with Wayne and Wayne and Pattie used to work for the Flint River Community Hospital in Montezuma when it was a general hospital. Good people! God bless The Ponders and Oglethorpe BBQ.
Great food great service and the food is cooked to perfection lol honestly it's the best for the area
Hamburgers and steak sandwiches are very good. Chicken is not good. The ribs tasted fine, but I got ill after eating them. Avoid the chicken and ribs and the food is great.
An anasuming gem of a bbq restaurant. Looks can be deceiving but this place have some great bbq with great price.
We got takeout - chicken and chipped barbecue. Absolutely delicious! Their sauce is amazing - my husband and I agree we can't eat any other sauce. It's not sweet, just good!
